Kinects® Solutions Inc.
Kinects® Solutions Inc. was established in July 2007 by Kinectrics to develop and commercialize powerline communication technology and related applications. Kinects® mission is to provide cost-effective, reliable, secured communication and sensing solutions to utilities and help them realize the "Smart Grid".
The Kinects® technology has been under development for the last four years, including a successful field pilot demonstration operating since 2005, met ANSI testing requirements and obtained Measurement Canada approval in early 2007.

Kinects Solutions Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kinectrics Inc. - worldwide specialists in generation (nuclear, hydro and fossil), transmission, distribution, environmental technologies and energy services for a broad range of organizations and companies. Originally known as Ontario Hydro Technologies, part of Ontario Hydro, one of North America's largest and most reliable utilities, Kinectrics Inc. is internationally recognized with a long-standing reputation for excellence in research, engineering and development.
Kinectrics has over 95 years experience in the power utility business and has a thorough understanding of all aspects of utility operation including power generation, but with particular expertise in power distribution systems. It has extensive development and testing capabilities including high voltage and high current laboratories, a prototyping shop and a certified metrology laboratory. Based in Toronto, Canada with over 250 highly skilled staff and associates including scientists, professional engineers and technologists with extensive experience of solving the problems of North American and global utilities.
